What do we mean by fine art photography anyways? A lot of keywords are thrown around the wedding photography community. "Fine art photography" and "Photojournalism" and "documentary style" being popular ones. So what do all of these terms actually mean? A documentary style/photojournalistic approach essentially means little to no direction from the photographer at all. Nothing posed, like family, couples or bridal party shots. So while we approach many aspects of the day photo-journalistically (like the ceremony, reception, and many of the candid images), we do a lot directed formal portraits too! I believe in a happy medium, to provide you with an amazing collection of candid moments paired with classic and timeless portraits from your day.
