Sunrise Engagement session at Greenwood Conservation area | Katherine + Chris

I just loved this sunrise engagement session at Greenwood conservation area. Can we just say WOW for a minute?!?! This session was originally planned for sunset, but we had to postpone it by a week. The weather this fall has been so miserable! Since my sunset slot was already filled, Katherine and Chris opted for a super early morning session instead. They really wanted to take advantage of the soft pretty light!!! Sunrise is actually way more magical then sunset anyways, isn’t it? The dew was glistening in the grass, and not another soul was in sight…. except for maybe a pack of 10 dogs photobombing us! haha. True story! Look at that amazing light though! Waking up that early stinks for sure, but it sure does make for stunning pictures! I am really excited about how all of these turned out! :)

I can’t wait to be photographing Katherine and Chris next summer at Bloom Field Gardens in Newcastle. It is going to be an amazing day! I had so much fun getting to know you both (and Frankie too!), I hope you enjoy your images! I know I do! I can’t wait for next October.

If anyone is looking for an amazing outdoor place to take engagement pictures, I highly suggest Greenwood conservation area! It is dog friendly too, which is an added bonus if you want to incorporate your pet in your session. :)

“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”
