I met a group of Toronto-based photographers on model mayhem that invited me to join them in studio for a monthly shoot. Essentially, it would be a group of us wanting to learn and play around with different lighting……..I brought along Jaymie to do make-up, however, our model cancelled on us for the day and we were left with 4 photographers, a studio, a make-up artist, and no model! So Jaymie came to the rescue, and did a marathon 5 hour session with 4 different photographers snapping away! We ran out of outfits, since she didn’t come ready to model, so we created a make-shift tin foil dress, which turned out awesome!

On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Jenn and Alex for their engagement photos. I was assisting Lesley Wong (http://www.lesleywongphotography.com/) my new friend from my portraiture class, as her usual second shooter and beloved husband was working. We met up in the distillery district, and let me tell you, it wasn’t warm!!! We braved the cold as long as we could possibly stand it, and poor Jenn was in a skirt! We took a coffee break in my favorite coffee shop, Balzaccs, and then continued with a few more locations.
